The invitation from Aldeias Artísticas - Há Festa no Campo, to paint in a village in the center of Portugal, as a way of relating the urban and rural contexts, showing that their crossing is fundamental in the construction of opportunities in rural areas.
The place selected was the old fountain of Juncal do Campo. Due to its nature and historical interest in the life of the localities, I developed the project in order to glorify this space, in a social and historical context, where water and air will have a strong and appealing visual distinction, using elements of portuguese history and greco-roman mythology.
In 2011 I started the "Free Birds" project, which I have been developing and growing. Project that has consisted in the representation of birds, represented in an impressionistic and polychromatic way. With the maturing of this project I ended up starting another, "Les Corbeaux" where there is the representation of corvids with a human-historical relationship.
